With SureNotice, you are in compliance with the most current confidentiality requirements of both the Texas Labor Code and HIPAA. As part of the new HIPAA regulations, insurance carriers must establish internal protocols and institute policies to ensure faxes and emails containing sensitive personal information are secure and not accessible to unauthorized persons.
At SureNotice we go to great lengths to protect the privacy and confidentiality of our client’s notices. We use state-of-the-art password protection and computer encryption technology to safeguard each confidential document maintained in our database. We do not use faxes, and our automated email notifications do not contain any personal information.
SureNotice allows you to set up, designate and control different levels of user access for each specific claim. This ensures that only the people you designate will have access to your notices.
Upon receipt of a new notice, SureNotice generates an email to authorized users notifying them that a Division notice has been received. In order to view or download that notice, the authorized user must first access the SureNotice website using an individualized, secure password. Once in the SureNotice secure environment, any exchange between SureNotice and the authorized user’s computer are encrypted using state-of-the-art SSL and 128-bit encryption.
